My husband and I went up there gambled for 4 hours. Ate at the buffet. We started with 145 and came home with 112. A friend gave us a room. It was so relaxing. Haven't been just hanging out with my husband for awhile now!!!

We stayed at the RV park while visiting our daughter in Emmetsburg, because the city campground by the lake was full. Its a pleasant spot, but not for more than a day or two as hookup is electric only, no sewer or water. There is no water station to fill your tank. At least, there was a huge sign at the spigot that said warning- non potable water. The dump station is not level, and is on the high side so the trailer had to be jacked up quite a bit on the off side to be able to dump the tanks. There is no dumpster near the park so I had to haul trash around through the employee parking lot behind the casino to find a dumpster. Breakfast is included in the price, very average continental hotel breakfast. Dunnigans Pub was awesome, good food, the staff were all very nice and friendly, the camping spots were reasonably level and easy access, and there is a nice bath house available for campers. Not a bad place at all, could be much better with some improvements. Honestly though, would probably only go back if it were the only RV option available again.

Went to the buffet. It was ok but when we got there around 6 pm the food was obviously old. None of the staff bothered to stir anything even though there was a "cook" there coming out from the back to look at the food. After awhile maybe a hour or so of just sitting around talking when I went up for a second plate they had put some fresh stuff out. It was obviously better than the first. I didn't even bother to try the crab legs when I noticed they don't give you crackers to crack them. I seen the other tables really struggling with the little plastic tools to try to get them open so yeah wasn't going to be fighting for my food. The few things that were fresh were pretty good that's why it didn't get one star but the service sucked big time also. The "server" if you called him that more like a glorified table washer who was burdened to get you more to drink didn't seem to care you were sitting there with an empty glass. So on my way up for a second plate I asked him for 2 more pops since I knew we would never see him again and he acted like I was asking for top shelve whisky or something. Two? He asks I said yes and my buddy needs another water also. Needless to say no tip was left! Probably won't be back. I don't suggest it unless you like basically no service and old food.

Honestly, this is my favorite of all the casinos I've visited. I have had nothing but GREAT times here and always enjoy my stay. Wild Rose Casino is without a doubt at the top of the list. Well worth the drive!
